A digital image of your artwork should be submitted at 100% of the size you want it printed. In addition, please provide a paper copy of your artwork. Color separated laser prints are preferred; however, inkjet prints are acceptable.
Sizing Guidelines
Full front or back images have a maximum 12 inch width and 14 inch height (youth sizes maximum height/width is 10 inches).
Left chest or center images have a maximum width and height of 4 inches. If the image will be placed on or above a pocket, the maximum width and height is 3.5 inches.
Novelty item image requirements vary with each item, please discuss with your sales consultant.
Remember, these are guidelines, not requirements.
Your Files
For Object Oriented, Vector, or Encapsulated Postscript (EPS) graphics, we support Adobe Illustrator 9.0, and Macromedia Freehand 9 (and all earlier versions of the same software). If your art was created with one of these programs, please submit the art in the program's native format. Before sending the file, be sure to convert all type to paths or curves.
For pixel based images or "Paint-type" programs, we support Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and earlier. Please submit the art in the program's native format if possible or image types (.TIF or .JPG formats).
We support the following types of disk media: Iomega 100M Zip, CDR and 3.5" floppy disks. For large files (over 1MB), we support Zip file compression.
E-mail is our preferred method of file submission, if specific guidelines are met. Digital submission is the most convenient and economic way to submit files, and it also allows for immediate feedback. Please remember that the Internet is not always reliable. Be sure to contact your sales representative to confirm that we have received your file.
